This large and full of a light two-level home in Belmont needed refreshment and brightening in order to show its best features and get the owners what they wanted from the sale.
Before the works
Our property preparation package for this home included a full interior and some exterior painting. The carpets were changed and a deep clean, especially in the kitchen was needed. The back garden was well appointed but there were some dead plants that had to be removed. We added new plants to fill the garden and make it feel more finished.
Why ‘Soothing Modern’
For every house we work on, Geri, our designer and stylist, chooses an overall theme that will travel throughout the whole property. The goal is to make the home feel harmonious and cohesive through paint, landscaping, and home staging.
Usually, the property ‘speaks’ its subtle message through its architecture, existing fixtures, and style potential. Geri ‘reads’ the message and works from there to put it all together and make it more evident.
For this two-level home, the ‘modern’ was evident and the ‘soothing’ was suggested by the natural light softly flowing into the rooms.
Ready for sale
After finishing the painting, carpentry, and landscaping work, the home staging made the house feel like home. There are three lounge areas, four bedrooms, and three spaces for outdoor furniture sets. We made sure that the home feels spacious but not emotionless.
