When deciding on a paint colour, it is all about the feel you want to have when being in the room. Every colour has a different ‘personality’ and sends a different message. That said, each person sees and feels about a certain colour a bit differently. This is because of cultural backgrounds, the ways we have grown up in our family homes, or the life experiences we had. We do understand all that. Our colour consultations are personalised to reflect your own needs and perceptions; or the goal you want to achieve with that particular interior.
If the colour consultation is part of property preparation for sale or rent, then we take a more general approach so that the choices work with a larger pool of people.
How are our Colour Consultations different?
We are not afraid of colour – neutral, bold, eclectic or traditional. What we care about is creating a cohesive, cosy and inviting environment where colour complements the space. Style is not a thing for us, feeling is what we are after.
And of course, the amount and quality of natural light in your interiors play a large role in choosing a colour and a shade.

Who is your Colour Consultant?
Geri is an interior designer and blogger with a natural sensibility about colour. She is originally from Bulgaria but before settling in Australia she lived in several and travelled to many more countries. This is why her travels were and still are a source of inspiration and knowledge that she employs when styling or designing interiors.
With her multicultural background and experience, Geri is open to new interpretations of colour. Her natural inclination is towards Mediterranean styles – like Moroccan and French. These styles are known for their rustic but warm feel and often are characterised by the use of natural materials and elaborate decorative elements.

To achieve the best results, we offer In-home colour consultations. This is because Geri will be able to see in person the natural light, the true patterns and colours of the fixtures and furniture in your home.
In-Home Colour Consultations
For the In-Home Colour Consultations, Geri will visit your home and discuss with you your ideas, preferences and practical needs in terms of paint colours. She will also take into account the existing furniture, furnishings and accessories in your home. You will talk about what you wish to keep and what you would like to change or update in your interiors later on.
On the basis of that discussion and Geri’s knowledge of colours, she will create a paint colour scheme that you can use as a guideline. You will be given a Colour Specification Report with all the details you need to start painting your interiors.
Payment is due during booking and the price includes GST.

These are Dulux, Wattle and Porter’s Paints, each chosen for their specific properties, available colours and desired effects.
